Three new board members appointed
TORONTO — Three new board members were appointed to the board of the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) today.
Brian Gibson is currently Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of TAVANI Relationship Investors Ltd., an investment management firm, since August 2015. During his 36-year career, he has been responsible for the management of various large equity investment portfolios, including those of insurance companies, a chartered bank, pension and mutual funds, and endowments.
Neil Selfe is the founder, CEO and Managing Principal of INFOR Financial Group. He is an accomplished entrepreneur, investment banker and lawyer, serving previously as a Managing Director and head of non-resource investment banking at GMP Securities L.P; co-founder and Managing Partner of Diversified Global Asset Management Corp, and; Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Technology, Media and Telecom banking at RBC Capital Markets.
Geoffrey Belsher has over 30 years experience as a senior business executive, investment banker and corporate lawyer. Since retiring from CIBC in late 2015, Geoff has focused on providing strategic advice to public and private clients. In August 2018, Geoff was appointed to the Board of AGT Food and Ingredients Inc. Prior to joining CIBC Geoff had over 12 years of investment banking experience with major Canadian and global investment banks.
