Inquest into the Death of Zoltan Adam Announced

Dr. Kenneth Peckham, Regional Supervising Coroner for Central Region, Central West Office, announced today that an inquest will be held into the death of Zoltan Adam.

Mr. Adam, 19, died on May 10, 2016, after he became pinned between the cage of a telescopic lift and a balcony at a construction site in Brampton. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.  

The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding Mr. Adam's death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing future deaths.

Details regarding the date and location will be provided at a later date when the information becomes available. Dr. Bob Reddoch will preside as inquest coroner and Theo Sarantis will be counsel to the coroner.
