Inquest into the Death of Kyle Knox Announced

Dr. Roger Skinner, Regional Supervising Coroner for Central Region, Toronto West Office, today announced that an inquest will be held into the death of Kyle Knox.

Mr. Knox, 24, died on October 11, 2011, while working at a construction site. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.

The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding Mr. Knox's death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing future deaths.

Details regarding the date and location will be provided at a later date when the information becomes available. Dr. Jennifer Tang will preside as inquest coroner and Tom Schneider will be counsel to the coroner.
